DGM HQ NightWorld was most

10.54

DGM HQ.

NightWorld was most eventful. Only one of the adventures was being kidnapped / ransomed, although with no unpleasantness, in unrecognized foreign lands.

Rising at 08.20, a large reduction in jetlag. Alex and David were both in the DGM Kitchen as I came down from the shower.

In the DGM Park, a fence has collapsed, an external manifestation of our crumbling physical office-structure…

… in contrast to the internal condition of DGM.

Morning reading…

A disaster in DGM ArtWorld Two: yesterday’s Vicar-work has been lost. I went to the front door to watch Artist Ben’s face as David gave him the news.

Onto computing.

12.46 About to leave for Salisbury and a notary public.

19.34 On the street in Salisbury I…

As Michael Legg would say, and did, many times: You can’t escape your Circle.  The notary public’s in-laws live opposite the churchyard where Toyah’s Parents are now in residence. He has two children at the school of which David’s Father was formerly headmaster. We have a number of mutual acquaintances in the Salisbury area. This easily typed, but a wealth of detail and commentary not included here. Summary: You can’t escape your Circle.

To various shoppings. There are many more empty premises than my last visit here.

There are many good things about Salisbury, and perhaps chief of these is the cathedral. It defies gravity. Although we lived in Broad Chalke for nearly twelve years, only eight miles away, this is not a town which ever felt like home to me.

Returning to DGM HQ and a conversation at the back door with Butcher Fry; as is conventionally the case when I drive in.

Into the DGM Kitchen and A celebration of Vicarious arisings with David…

Uncle Bill telephoned as David set off, homewards down the street.

To e-flurrying.

23.21 Enough.
